Imus Institute
Founded in 1923, it is the oldest secondary school recognized by the government in the province. The school established its College Department in 1952 and has since expanded with plans of attaining university status on its centennial. On November 25, 2000, three buildings in the main campus were gutted by fire. Over fifty classrooms, administrative offices, libraries, laboratories, computer rooms and school records were lost. School continued by accommodating classes in the Dimasalang campus and makeshift classrooms in Imus. The following year, the new M-building, replacement for the old main building, was completed.
