National Flag Day
On May 28, 2008, the First Wagayway Festival was celebrated. This celebration signifies the very first time waving the Philippine flag during the Battle of Alapan. This five-day event includes the historical reinactment of the battle and the declaration signing for Philippine Independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. The celebration was launched by Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi.

Paskuhan sa Imus
Imus is also known for it's one month long celebration of Christmas. Everywhere you go, there are lights and decorations, lanterns and food. They also an enactment of Panunuluyan. Nightly entertainment shows and events. Vendors come together to share their crafts.
Kakanindayog Festival
This celebration every October is in honor of the city's patroness, Nuestra Senora del Pilar and the founding anniversary of the city through street dancing and the traditional "karakol" procession. It is also a celebration to promote the native kakanin and other delicacies which the city is well known for such as Puto Lansong.
